Position Summary

Oldcastle APG is searching for an aggressive, results-oriented National Sales Director to support the growth and development of our Sakrete and Amerimix business. The National Sales Director is responsible for creating a comprehensive sales strategy to deliver a consistent program driving profitable growth across 25-30 key accounts. Customer accounts include Ace Hardware, True Value, Tractor Supply Company, Construction Supply Group (CSG) and Menards. The National Sales Director will coordinate and serve as liaison in a dynamic capacity building effective partnerships with our customers, licensees, and internal operators and sales force.

Job Description Summary

  • Identifies regional and national opportunities among all co-ops, major regional accounts and national warehouses.
  • Develops and proactively manages national and regional programs. Plans, prepares and anticipates customer needs.
  • Assesses customer, market and program opportunities to leverage regional customer and internal leadership best practices.
  • Provides direct management and customer support as main point of contact for the Sakrete program.
  • Reacts and responds with a sense of urgency to resolve all customer issues and delivers customer-centric solutions.
  • Actively coordinates all related tradeshow events and activities including show discounts, show booth setup/design, customer participation and internal sales support.
  • Effectively communicates to company leadership teams, local operators and key customers regarding program implementations and enhancements.
  • Identifies marketing and other resources needed to promote and grow brand awareness and sales.
  • Daily execution and coordination of all administrative tasks required to manage a successful program.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No direct reports.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience with commercial distribution channels and retail customers.
  • High level of business acumen; fluently understands and can interpret financial data, market trends and recognizes opportunities
  • Ability to travel 35-40% annually includes some overnight travel.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly, effectively and timely; written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
